I switched my nostril piercings a couple of times now and all of a sudden blood on one of them after 6 months of healing 😭 then I remember I put makeup on it for the first time I assume my nostril hates make up ? 😢 help

please please help so im on holiday but 5days before i went to a beach in the uk n i swam in it n i feel after that my ears reacted to the piercing and my earw become flaky, theres like yellow ish water coming out and ny ears kinda become stretches out its really wierd and i dont onow what to do whether i ahould take it out and today im going yo the beach too so idk what to do

I had a helix piercing back in the day when piercers were still using a gun for ALL ear piercings... and the standard instruction was to "turn the piercing twice a day". 18 months it aaaaalmost healed, flared, almost healed, flared... rinse repeat. two year anniversary of the piercing and I had jack of it. It was having a "good" day... which meant the bump was small enough I could get the butterfly back onto it (yeah we still used them back then too). I quit while I was ahead and took it out. Turns out I'm allergic to surgical stainless (I always use titanium or PTFE for new piercings now). ALSO, after about a month, the whole damn bump fell off and a - I shit you not - foot long strand of hair was tightly coiled INSIDE the bump! It was one of the most fucking disgusting things I've ever seen.. I'd love to get it done again, but I keep chickening out now. Long story short, DO NOT SPIN YOUR PIERCINGS!!! 🤣

I got my first tattoo almost 4 weeks ago. My healing process sounds like it was unique haha. I had NO redness, swelling, heat. Very little discharge or oozing. Very little itching. Basically no after effects lol. The peeling process was a long one though.

I always get infected at Claire's and found we can do at tattoo. Their gun piercing is causing trama to our skin, that why infect occurs

Top for removing internally jewellery that seems stuck. Wrap around the head with a bit of floss and use that to get some leverage

Why didn't you just downsize the jewelry?

Scott from the Piercing Vegas UA-cam channel recommends NOT getting three forward helixes at the same time due to swelling. He recommends getting the TOP and the BOTTOM and once healed, getting the middle one. I recently thought about getting two forward helixes due to a video he posted because I believe I have the right anatomy to hide the backing studs. Kelsey from his shop did a double helix on me simultaneously a year ago and I think it'd be wicked if she did the same with a double forward helix. Granted, the double helix hurt like hell.

I don’t know if the screen is flipped or how things are orientated once uploaded to UA-cam. But personally I think that the placement of the right side nostril is better (the right side as in me looking directly at my screen, you would need to figure which one that correlates to in real life). I think the left side sits a little odd, like it doesn’t sit flat and so the jewellery doesn’t look flush to the skin. However, this is purely my opinion as you asked for it. Most importantly, do what makes you happy, it’s your body and your life. But as for my opinion as someone moderately to heavily pierced, I prefer the right. I left another comment explaining my own struggle with the very same issue, and for me the only way it got fixed way by adding high nostrils, somehow and I don’t know how, it made everything look totally even. If I take my high nostrils out for a day, my normal nostril piercings look totally out of whack again, it’s so weird.

The only way I could find symmetry with my nostril piercings is by getting high nostril piercings in addition to my normal ones. I don’t know how or why, but it evened them out. I don’t understand it, but I’ll take it, as I tried so many times to let one close and re pierce etc etc. I wear a chain over my high nostrils sometimes, and even then everything still looks even. If I take out my high nostrils and wear my normal nostrils for a day, they look uneven as heck lol!

I just had mine done a few days ago, the piercing itself didn’t hurt but the swelling and headache that comes with it 😭

Haven't had a daith or a raging infection like that. Ouch. Instead I got an anti tragus and 2 years later its still a pain to keep happy for longer than a few weeks. Titanium is superior! Its all I can wear. Thanks for keeping this video up. 🩵

I didn’t know this was a thing. I got the outline/layout started on a half chest - full sleeve. I only got my chest outlined and half of my arm done on a Friday. Saturday i felt good, Sunday i was fucked! Felt like I had Covid all over again. I was sick Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and the morning of Wednesday. It was a bitch. I wonder if it’s gonna happen when it starts to get shaded.

I've got my second nose stud done and I'm still like wondering if it is infected I can say it's red and a lil sore and Yeh some discharge tho it was done like a few days ago but it is like sinking into my nose and I keep having to push it from inside bcuz I feel it'll get like stuck in my nose idk if that's whats making it sore or its acc a infection, can u help me with this one pleaseee

I have each tragus done as well. I was prescribed hearing aids a few months back. The wire sometimes gets stuck around the flatback. It’s a pill, but I deal with it. My health has already taken enough from me in other ways so I’m refusing to take my ear piercings out to accommodate hearing aids better. I just try my best to take my hearing aids out carefully (with the random exceptions of one deciding to fall off).

I retired one of my helix piercings early this year. It was pierced in 2018 as part of a double helix and I did everything right with aftercare. One healed beautifully and the other refused to heal and it would have random flare ups. After 6 years of dealing with the flare ups, I just got tired and I made the decision to take it out, and I'm so happy with that decision! Also, I did subscribe for the piercing content, but I'm staying for the vlogs and book content! And now looking forward to the tattooing/body art content! Congratulations on starting your business!!
